AMERICA

 

America is ours

And none can take away;

The oceans, earth, the flowers,

We've known from day to day.

 

We live because of those

Who risked their lives to give;

Love's light that ever glows,

That we might freely live.

 

The struggles, hurt, unrest,

Are things that we can change;

If we will do our best, and,

Priorities rearrange.

 

Think not of self, but one,

Who's ever known to rise;

Above the evil done,

On earth, on sea, in skies.

 

Remember why we're free

Remind us why we're here;

Perhaps it's now that we,

Will learn to love, not fear.
